Occupy movement/2020 protests

• Unfortunate that they feel the need to cause problems to get their voice herd
• Also unfortunate that the government has left citizens behind
• Whether one agrees with them or not, good and American to protest
• United States created by people unhappy with their government
• While some may be anarchists, many would love to work and have to pay taxes
• Possible police overreaction
• Perhaps Occupy Portland will help us unlearn our learned helplessness
• Should call on legislatures to reform campaign finance, the root of all problems
